Thank you for participating in Turkey Bowl 2024 this Saturday, November 23, 2024! We’re excited to have you join us, and we want to make sure you’re fully prepared. Please read through the entire email to ensure you have all the details you need for a smooth tournament experience.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFO

• ALL PLAYERS must be registered by 11:59 PM on Friday, November 22nd to be eligible to play.
• YOUR TEAM ROSTER:
  • Minimum of 8 players (5 males + 3 females) to be eligible for the Playoff Bracket.
  • All players must have an acceptable Profile Photo uploaded for roster checks—NO PHOTO = NO PLAY.
  • MAX Roster: 18 players

SHIRT/JERSEY COLORS

• Please bring both dark and light-colored shirts/jerseys.
• All players must wear the same color. The away team will need to change if colors are duplicated.

PARKING

• Arrowhead Park has two parking lots:
  • If your pool play games are at Arrowhead Field 1, you should park in the gravel lot near the field.
  • If your pool play games are at Arrowhead Field 3, or the gravel lot is full, park in the Colin Powell Elementary School lot (next main driveway on the right past the gravel lot).

GAME DAY

• POOL PLAY begins at 9am.
• All players must be at the field at least 15 minutes BEFORE your first game.
• If your team is not on the field, ready to play within 5 minutes after game time, it will be considered a FORFEIT. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
• CAPTAINS - Pick up your Turkey Bowl Shirts at the FXA Tent after your 1st game. If your players need a different size, ask the other teams to trade for a size.

PLAYOFFS

• The top 2 teams from each pool will be selected to play in a single-elimination tournament.
• The bracket will be posted on the schedule page and emailed out to all players as soon as standings are finalized (around 4:10 PM). The first round will start at 4:15 PM.
• Seeding:
  • Pool Winners: Seeds #1-5
  • Pool Runners-up: Seeds #6-10
  • Seeding will be determined by:
    1. Record (Seeds #1-5: first-place pool finishers, Seeds #6-10: second-place finishers)
    2. Points scored differential
    3. Points allowed
    4. Points scored
    5. Coin-flip (if needed)

RULES & EQUIPMENT

• Triple Threat Flag Belts will be provided at each field. Green Belts = XL flag belts.
• Players cannot wear tights, underwear, or thermal undergarments not intended as exterior wear.
• NO POCKETS - Due to safety reasons, players cannot wear any article of clothing that contains pockets (shorts, pants, jackets, sweatshirts, hand warmers, etc). If a player wears an article of clothing with pockets, they will not be allowed to wear a flag belt and will be marked down at the spot where the ball was caught. FXA does not permit players to tape their pockets or turn them inside out.
• Each team is required to bring 1-2 game balls.
• Profile Photo: All players must have a profile photo for roster checks and playoff verification. (How to Upload a Profile Photo)
• Chairs, tents, and canopies are welcome, but please do not set them up on the turf fields.
